Prosecco Reception | MTWF23 | Update

As part of the 8-day long Winter Festival we have crafted the Prosecco Reception to be an opportunity for all participants to meet in the beautiful cadre of the Judith Wright Centre (JWC). We have invited some of our sponsors, supporters, foundations and the Argentine Consul to take part in the celebration to help us all show the support needed to our charity of choice: Parkinson's QLD.

During the reception prosecco from De Bortoli Wines will be on offer. Sumire&Tamai a dance couple coming directly from Tokyo will do a short performance.

Whether you are dancing at the festival or want to enjoy an artistic show in this beautiful foyer you are very welcomed to join us on Thursday 27th of July from 20:30 to 22:30 at the JWC on 420 Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley

Q&A:

Is this a dancing event? No, Sumire and Tamai (from Tokyo) will do a dance performance but the event is meant for people to mingle and socialise in this beautiful venue, not to dance.

Is this a seat-down event? No, we expect people to roam around the Arts Centre Foyer and enjoy the installations while they meet their favourite tango maestros and fellow dancers.

Is there food? We will offer a glass of prosecco to each participant and some cheese platters but no dinner will be served as part of the event. The bar will be open so you can buy some additional nibble platters and drinks during the evening.

Where should I park? the JWC is conveniently located a few minutes walking from EC Venue where the workshops will be run and only a short drive away from the Brisbane City Hall in the centre of Brisbane. Easy parking
